Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam...No, is not so lovely as the Monty Python cheerfully sang! Classifieds website have a tendency to attract spammers, bots or fake content. In previous tutorials, we taught you how easy was to configure Akismet and reCAPTCHA.

Today we’re going to show you another way to get rid of the annoying spam or a way to simply have a higher moderation control of your ads, with More edit plugin.

More edit plugin allows you to add more options to ad moderation control. In this way you can choose to moderate all or edited ads (you will have to validate them in order to make them visible), get notified when a user edits an ad or establish a maximum of ads per week/month, among other features. Download it on our Market - http://market.osclass.org ; install it in your oc-admin and go to Plugins → More edit options to configure it.

Let’s see its many possibilities:

- Moderate all ads. By checking this option, admins will have to manually check and activate new ads.

- Moderate edit. By checking this option, admins will have to manually approve any ad that has been edited. In this way, edited ads will not be visible until they get approved by admins.
- Disable edit. By checking this option, users won’t be able to edit their ads.
- Notify admin in case of ad editing. By checking this option, admins will receive an email each time an ad is edited. Be careful, this option may be useful for moderation but could be annoying if your ads are often edited.

Your website is buzzing with activity and you cannot moderate them all. Don’t panic. You can also establish a maximum amount of ads published per week and per month. Note that maximum ads per month must should be a greater value than maximum ads per week.
